Evaluation of infection with Toxoplasmosis for pregnant women in Diyala province | ||

| Abstract | ||
| The study included sera diagnosis of toxoplasmosis which causes by Toxoplasma gondii parasites which one causes of apportion for pregnant women with age between(20-50) years. This study performed in period between ( December 2009 ) to( April 2010 ), who visited the General hospital of Balddrose of Diyala province. We used direct latex agglutination method for diagnosis. The study included(50) blood samples for pregnant women had been more than one apportion .(10) blood samples for pregnant women which had no apportion and without infection with toxoplasmosis as a healthy group for control. The result appeared the number of pregnant women infection with toxoplasmosis is (27)( 54%) from (50) .(11) pregnant women(40.7%)with one apportion and (8) pregnant women with two apportions (29.6). The study showed the age group(20-30)year consisted the high percentage of infection (72%) and showed the infections in rural higher than city infection (32%) | ||
