| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted to identify the role of bacteria in respirartory infections in the young calves through isolation and identification of these bacteria. (95) samples were collected included (63) nasal swabs, (7) samples of lungs and (25) blood samples from calves at ages (1-5) months suffered from respiratory infection. The study showed isolate (66) bacterial isolates of six different genera of the bacteria represented Esherichia coli the maximum ratio of 50% followed by Staphylococcus aureus 15%with varied rates of the rest of the bacteria and was the most important Klebsiella pneumonia,Enterobacter,Pseudomonas spp and Proteus. Tested the sensitivity of bacterial isolates for nine antibiotics, most of the isolates were sensitive (100%)to ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin while varied rates the resistant of other bacteria to antibiotics used | ||
