Abstract
The results of physical, mechanical, chemical and mineralogical analysis of recent clayey sediments within floor and banks of Mosul Dam Lake and through shaping of 93 cube samples and pottered at 900ºC with mature time about four ohure have revealed that it is possible to use some of these clayey sediments in the brick industry after mixing with 25% construction sand .
It was observed that some of those samples brick have coresponding with the iraqi stander for brick industry No.25, for year 1988, clase A and B, with no cracks, good plasticity and properities conforming .
