Abstract
This study was conducted at the Technical Institute al musaib during 20th of july to 22 of September.2006, 300 Ross chicken were reared in order to find the effect of local barley treated with β_glucanase inperformance productive of Ross broilers which included increasing weight gain, feed intake,feed conversion ratio. the study included five treatments, the first one was used standard ration without barley ,the second was used ration including 30% local barley without β_glucanase, the third was used ration including 30% local barley treated with β_glucanase, the fourth was used ration with 40 % local barley without β-glucanase and the fifth was used 40% local barley treated with β_glucanase, the result showed significant domination of 30% and 40% barley treated with β_gluganase at the rest of studied treatment in productive characters (average gain weight feed consumption and feed conversion) at most studied age (1-3, 3-8 , 1-8, and 1- 8 weeks) .the third treatment and fifth treatment dominated at control treatment , second treatment and fourth treatment in dressing percentage , which reach to 76.10% and 76,14% for the third and fifth treatment respectively where as treatment dominated was less for the rest treatment . the third and fifth treatment recorded list fat ratio in carcass compared with other treatments in this study.
