| Abstract | ||
| This research focused on the problems of elderly people in elderly care house in Baghdad, whether the problems,( health, socio-economic, psychological, recreational), and how to find solutions to these problems by take care of the elders. The research involved two aspects: Theoretical side which focused on collecting information about the problems of the elderly and the importance of social welfare for the elderly and the field side by taking a random sample of community represented by 50 elders Samples were gathered through the interview form included 21 questions and analyzed the data contained in tables. Were drawn from among the results show that most older people have entered the care home of their wish, due to poor living standards, and bad treatment of children to them and also show that a large number of elderly people have a desire to leave the care home and return to their families, but They cannot, due to poor living standards, and bad treatment of children to them and there is no home available for them. After the diagnosis of these problems, the researcher has developed recommendations to combat these problems and overcome them. | ||
