Abstract
The experiment was carried out in the agriculture research center of Koya city/ east of Erbil Governorate - at spring season of 2009 to find out the effect of plant spraying with various concentrations of Magnesium sulfate in conjunction with two different depths on some physiological specification (high of plant, diameter of stem, content of chlorophyll a , b and the total chlorophyll of leaves).The chlorophyll content has been assessed by the libratory chemical method and using the elements assessing device (Spectrophotometer), during two stages (pre and post flowering). The data collected between these two stages has been used in the study. The Study showed increased of stem diameter while sprayed with 20gm in 15cm depth where the mean of diameter was( 5.4225 )cm.while there were no significant differences in zero gm and 10cm depth and the mean of diameter was( 2.9525 )cm.also the plant high increased while sprayed with 20gm in 10 and 15cm depth, where the results were( 65.075 and 64.950 )cm.by following Moreover there were no significant differences in (25 and 15) gm with 10cm depth and the results were ( 42.100 and 47.075) cm. by following. Concerning the chlorophyll content the differences were significant, the best results were recorded while the plant has been sprayed with 20 gm. and planted in 15cm depth in chlorophyll a , b and total , the average results were (4.1463 ,3.1388 and 7.2263)mg./g. fresh weight by following.
