| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted on 398 infants, including newborns and infants less than one year old, who visited the hospitaland those who stilled in it for curing in Ibn Al-Atheer hospital in Mosul during 14 years (1993-2006). All infants had malformed or defected hearts, 37.1% of them had a single heart defect, 26.9% of them had double heart defects. The number of all heart malformations and defects were 505, which was classified into 13 types. A comparison of type percentages and their incidence between the years including in this study and in both males and females also between the places of living, in Mosul city or in villages around it, were done | ||
