| Abstract | ||
| The research aimed to identify the level of academic adaptation and the level of irrational ideas among the students of the University of Dohuk, as well as to detect the nature of the relationship between academic adaptation and irrational ideas due to the variables of sex and specialty. The research sample included (730) students were randomly selected from the first and fourth grades in six colleges at the University of Dohuk, who applied to the tools of the research: the academic adaptation scale, prepared by researchers, and the measure of irrational ideas prepared by (Mullah Tahir,1995). The data were treated statistically using t-test for one sample and two independent samples and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Tests showed that a high level of academic adaptation among the students of the University of Dohuk, and the level of irrational ideas of members of the sample is generally low, as well as a weak negative correlation between the scores of respondents on the academic adaptation scale and their grades on the scale of irrational ideas. | ||
