Abstract
The attenuation measurmints of x-rays by using (Cu,Mo) tubes for Al and Zn meatls carried out ,the linear and mass attenuation coefficients (µL) and (µm)respectively were obtain also a programme were designed to calculate the average energy emitted from the above mention tubes , the results were compared with measured data after processing by mathematical method depending on XCOM programme which was used to calculate the attenuation coefficients on descrite energies , the risalts shows a good agreement.
