Estimation of Immunoglobulin IgG, IgA and the C-reactiv protein levels in diabetic patients with and without urinary tract infections in comparison with normal controls

Abstract
The levels of immunoglobulins IgG and IgA were studied and compared among diabetic patients and non diabetic control subjects . No significant differences were found between diabetics and healthy people on the levels of IgA, IgG . The study showed an increase in the level of C-RP among the diabetic patients. A logarithmic relationship binds the increases occurred in both C-reactive protein and serum glucose concentrations of the diabetics with urinary tract infections.
