Abstract
In this research ,the analysis of sound pressure level which is arising from the production machines,and its effect on noise pollution were carried out .The location of research work was in the plastic bags factory at the AL-Furat company for Chemical lndustries . The research was based on the field analysis of 52 locations in different places at this factory. Measuring of sound pressure levels was continued for six months by using the sound level meter. The geometrical and statistical analysis were carried out to find the averages,standard deviations and variation coefficients of the sound pressure measurements. In this analysis, the exact formula was used instead of the approximate formula , and comparing with reference sound level of 20 µPa. The results showed that the noise levels in the most locations are highly values than the permissible limits . The sound pressure levels are found at the minimum value of 77.62dB in the cooling building and the maximum value of 96.00dB in the rops section . Also the research suggested the using of rubber mounts to decrease the noise pollution . The results indicated the decreasing of noise levels at the rate of 33.5% by using these mounts .
