| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted in one large dairy cow's station south situated of Baghdad. We depended on primipara cows which Holestain - Friesian breed. Uterine involution were recorded in 60 cows, palpation rectally with a range one exam per a week, These cows were divided into two group 25-35 days and 36-48 days, according to uterine involution period. The prevalence of dystocia and retained placenta were in the first group 62.6% and 16.2% and second group 66% and 26% respectively there was no significant difference between different groups. It has been also showed that uterine disorder and ovarian an activity percentage between the two groups were 48% and 12% for first group and 60% and 10% for second groups respectively. The reproductive indices which is first estrous, first service, open days and service per conception was 60 days, 84 days, 116 days, 2 services for the first group and 64 days, 98 days, 125 days, 2 services for the second group respectively there was no significant difference between different groups. It was concluded from this study that obstetrical problems may effects on uterine involution and reproductive indices. | ||
