| Abstract | ||
| Single cutting from in vitro proliferation culture of potato cv. Desiree was cultured on MS medium . The effect of different concentrations of sucrose of (5 , 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12%) and kinetin at (0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 mg/l) on the microtuberization was studied .Factorial experiments were conducted in Complete Randomized Design with five replications . The average numbers of microtubers , weight , size and the number of buds on the tubers were recorded after ( 8-12) weeks from the inoculated date on tuberization media . The results showed that there were significant differences amonge concentrations for both sucrose and kinetin in all parameters . The interaction between sucrose (10% ) and (3mg/l) kinetin significantly increased the number, size, weight , eyes number, of microtubers | ||
