| Abstract | ||
| Agriculture is considered the economical base for developing society. Paying attention and developing the human source working in it countryside woman is one of the main principles for making the growth because of the vital role which women contribute in the agriculture processes. this role is nearly 60% in growing crops and vegetables and maintaining garden ,food manufacturing ,sewing, weaving in addition to looking after children .Agriculture extension concerns with educating countryside family to live well. There are many problems faced the women in Diyala governorate which influence negatively on the countryside family and in turn the society. A random sample (300 women) was taken from Diyala countryside families . the result of this research show that there are different kinds of problems face the women especially the security ones in the rate of (25%) and the agricultural , economic , health problems in rates of (23%),(18%) and (14%) respectively . the social problems come last in rate of (13%). The results also explain that there are many ways used by women to face and solve these problems and mainly by depending on themselves (12%),by counseling with the family members (46%),making use of the help of relatives , friends and social organizations (16%) and (6%) respectively. The rate of the women's use of the workers in the agriculture extention is the lowest one (8%). Finally making use of TV programs rate is (15%). The results show that there is a significant relationship between the women's educational level and her age with the used means the sberman coefficient correlation is (0.102) at (0.05) .The countryside women viewpoint of the contributing of extention workers in helping countryside family in solving the problems shows a weak contribution which is (20%) .the researcher recommends to develop the contribution of women by providing them with agricultural requirements and encouraging the countryside manufacturing. The need of training of new methods and the marketing extention are very important for the countryside women. Finally this research helps the specialists and extentional workers to set up programs and agricultural plans for developing these women and solving the problems to achieve the agricultural growth. | ||
