| Abstract | ||
| We made a study on use of Captopril chewing tablets in sever uncomplicated hypertensive patients that had been admitted to the emergency unit in Al kut General Hospital . We had noticed that 16 % of the treated patients their age between ( 30 – 40 ) years show 100 % response rate , whereas the most common age group between ( 41 – 50 ) years show response rate of about 93 % which is statistically significant . Also 98 % of the treated patients were free from complications . We concluded that captopril chewing tablets is save and effective treatment in hypertensive urgencies and sever hypertension | ||
