| Abstract | ||
| The dithionate complexes of Bis(dithiobenzoato) iron(II) , Bis(3-chlorodithiobenzoate) iron(II) and Bis(dithiosalicylate) iron (II) were synthesized. The thermal and photo transitions of complexes were identified by using techniques of UV- Visible and IR spectrophotometers. The results showed that the transition rate constant increased with elevation of temperature. Meanwhile, the iron complexes were highly affected by light and the degradation elevated much more at sunlight compared to that of daylight. The use of irradiation at 253.7 nm ( 7.83x10-19 J ) showed less significant effect for transition changes compared to that of 356 nm (5.58x10-19 J ). These observations were confirmed by measuring absorption bands with UV- Visible and IR spectrophotometers besides the possible chemical identifications | ||
