| Abstract | ||
| Mutazilah is regarded as one of the important movements in the Islamic and Arab history due to the role that its men played in the development of the scientific movement whether in the scientific sciences or in the human ones especially in speech science and philosophy and so on. It might be said that one of the most significant men was Abu Al-Hudhail Al-Allaf who is considered as one of the most prominent Mutazilah because of his wide knowledge and culture whether Arab, Islam or Foreign as well his solitary viewing and long history in different Islamic philosophical aspects. As he was skillful in debate and one of the defenders of true religion and the holy Quran. He was able to influence the opponents and win them over. Because of such men, Mutazilah played religious and political role in the Islamic and Arab history through their leadership of ideas and opinions which they called for and brought into light as discussions and debate in the divine attributes and the holy Quran word as well. The importance of this movement had been increased by making some of the Abbasid Caliphs consider Mutazilah as the official doctrine of the state, accordingly, Mutazilah men and thinkers were gained freedom in thinking, mobility and strength dissemination of their principles, ideas, and culture. | ||
