Abstract
This study sheds light on the role of Christian people in the transmission and development of Writing in Arab countries. The study concludes that Christian people played an evident role in Writing development especially in the north and middle of Peninsula. Christian people worked in trade which granted them the chance to contact other people and in turn to develop handwriting reaching to severed regions . Hence the alphabetical handwriting appeared for the first time in Hira , and then to other places .
