Leadership Personality and it‘s Relation with Fitness Level for the fourth years Physical Education College Students (Girls)/ University of Diyala | ||

| Abstract | ||
| The aim was to identify personal leadership level, and fitness level, and therefore knowing the relation between personal leadership level, and fitness level. The areas of research: the sample was (32) students which was chosen randomly from the fourth years in the college of Physical Education / University of Diyala, and period of research from 1/5/2011 until 15/6/2011, and was conducted in the College of Physical Education / University of Diyala. The researcher used descriptive method in relations manner, to achieve the objectives of the research used questionnaire to measure leadership personality in sports, as well as six test indicators to find physical variables level. And then analyzed and discussed statistical tables to find relations between first the leadership personality and of physical variables (muscle strength, speed, flexibility, agility, and endurance), and second the relation between leadership personality and overall fitness. The researcher in the study found the following conclusions: 1- The was a relation between leadership personality and speed, flexibility, and endurance variables. 2-The was on the relationship between leadership personality and explosive power of arm's muscles, explosive power of leg's muscles, and Fitness variables. 3-The was vast relation between leadership personality and physical fitness level in general. 4- The leadership personality has a great significance on physical fitness level and athletic performance. The most important recommendations were the following: 1- A need to pay attention to prepare educational curricula in colleges and institutes of physical education, and included some spaces for administration subjects, educational leadership, and special connection with the development qualities and personality traits of active leading. 2- Taking into account in the selection of candidates for admission to colleges and institutes of physical education who has leadership personality and passing through subjection tests for personal leadership skills features. 3- Importance of taking into selection athletes in general, those who engage in activities to gain speed, flexible and endurance particularly who has leadership character. | ||
