Abstract
The relationship between the mental and performance skills in all events and sports of interest coaches and players, and that the adoption of the player's success or failure of the compatibility of mental capacity and skill. The mental capacity one basic requirements and mission in the game of volleyball, being a team game featuring her skills serial and cascading, which require a high level of accuracy in performance, as well as being a game characterized by attitudes numerous and sudden rapid, in addition to the amendments and developments in the law of a game of volleyball which allowed the existence of a defensive free-called player (Allebr); to enhance the defense capability in order to be balanced with offensive capability, as well as a relay point, all these factors combined lead to an increased burden of mental or mental, which is the responsibility of the volleyball players, so the higher a the level of mental capacity will be reflected positively on the level of performance skills including offensive and equal to the great development of methods, especially tactical defensive skill to receive, send, and the defense of the pitch and that must be overcome to effectively frustrate attempts to lead the defense of the teams competition.
