| DNA and RNA wefe isolaled from tissue hornogenates of pathological contlol, benign and malignant utefine tumo$ using phe ol exiraction method. The purification of isolated DNA and RNA were caried ou! using spin-column method. -fhe DNA and RNA contents (myml) were found to be highef in the malignant tunor trssues homogenates than those of coresponding pathological contfol and benign utefine tumor trssue The acid and alkaline bonuclease (RNase) activities and acid deoxyribonuclease (DNase) aclivily were evaluaied in sera ofconnol. benign and malignant utefine tumors patients. I'lighly significant elevation (P<0.001) ofthese enzymes activities werc found in cancer gr oup in compadson wirh that of other g oups. No differ€nces in the thrce enzymes aclivities were found among the subgroups (pre-menopausal, menopausal. post rnenopausal patients) ofeach group under siudy | ||
