| Abstract Some diacetylene compounds were prepared using the well known coupling procedures. These compounds were used as model compounds for polydiacetylenes. They subjected to oxidation with various oxidizing agents. Reaction with performic acid gave the corresponding glycol or ketonic compounds. | ||
