Abstract
1 - Mecca is the first area the size and the proportion of the Kingdom in 1993, has surpassed the size of the capital Riyadh and the proportion of the population occupies the first place, according to the census of 2004. 2 - are areas of Jizan, Makkah, Baha of the most regions of the Kingdom in terms of computational density because of the small size of these regions compared to the number of its inhabitants. 3 - The study showed that the areas of Riyadh, Makkah and Eastern regions of more than a change in the size of population for the period 1993-2004. 4 - I registered the northern areas such as borders the north and Al-Jouf, Hail to the lowest absolute and relative change because of the wide area occupied by vast sand compared to the number of its population, as well as the distance from the coastline and the main settlement centers in the Kingdom. 5 - shows that most of the population increase was concentrated in areas of Riyadh, Medina and Mecca and Eastern, in other words the increase of population concentrated in the capital (Riyadh) and coastal areas bordering the Red Sea, which is attributed to the presence of major cities with regard to the local level and Islamic world and the most important of Jeddah and Mecca Mecca and Medina as well as the important advantage of the agricultural sections of the southern kingdom (Asir and Jizan) 6 - There are wide gaps plague the regions of the Kingdom so as not to see that order-out in the population sizes, and such dislocations and imbalances will require an amendment to give a priority to restore the balance between the geographical regions of the Kingdom, especially the northern areas which suffer from osteoporosis population is clear. 7 - The size of the population to be deployed to make a kind of homogeneity distributional during the period 1993 to 2004 amounted to 2,517,287.082 people, note that the percentage of concentration of population has decreased over the study period, reaching 86.5% in 1993 and 77.2% in 2004 and this means that part of the population may be dispersed in areas of less importance was not inhabited in 1993.
