| The self –esteem and it`s relation with the skill`s performance for young and junior players of basketball By:Dr.Naser Hussein Bdul Ameer Summary The word self-esteem refers to different meanings which is found indifferent degree for people .It is important factor that refers to how does the person feel toward himself .Whenever people have positive feelings ,their self-esteem will be high .On the other hand, the people who have negative feelings ,their self-esteem will be down. That`s mean the self-esteem refers to the person`s condition and how does he feel towards himself. Considering the above mentioned facts ,this study aims to the following : 1.Knowning the self-esteem and the skill`s performance for the junior players of basketball. 2.Producing the relation between the self-esteem and the skill`s performance for junior and young players of basketball . 3.Making a comparison between the self-esteem and the skill`s performance for junior and young players of basketball. As far as the procedure of the study is concerned, the researcher uses a sample which is consist of two groups ; the first one consist of 20 junior players chosen from Al-Hilla sport club ,they are 15-16 years old. While the second group consist of 20 young players chosen from Al –Hilla sport club ,they are 17-18 years old. The researcher used different means of data collection for the skillful test by using the suitable statistical methods. The researcher arrives to the following conclusions: 1-There is no moral relation between the self-esteem and the skill`s performance of junior and young players. 2.There`s no moral differences between junior and young players. | ||
