| The Effect of Some Sensory – Motor Perceptions Exercises on The Development Of the Accuracy Of Sitting Volleyball Basic Skills Instructor Dr.Hussein Sabhan Asst. Instructor. Ali Sabhan The researchers conducted this research based on the scientific reality of sitting volleyball that is considered recreational and competitive activity practiced by physically retarded athletes. The athlete that is good in learning and in training is equally good in connecting between mental training and physical training which eventually lead to accuracy in skill performance. Sensory – motor perception include specifying and explaining sensations. Volleyball sport is related to many perceptions that can be developed and improved through learning and training. The most important sensory perceptions are sensing distance from the sides and front and from the rare and sensing the ball and the teammates and other sensations. The researchers designed set of exercises that would develop sensory – motor perceptions and skill accuracy of players. The subjects were (16) sitting volleyball players of the ages (18 – 20) years old. The experimental program was used to fix the problem of the research. The researchers concluded that using sensory – motor perception exercise that stimulates skill performance had a positive effect in developing the skill level of the subjects of the research. They Finley recommended paying attention to sensory – motor perception exercises and including them within the training session due to their importance in developing skill and planning levels. | ||
