Given the prevalence of the English language and the adoption of a universal language taught in most Arab and foreign countries, which may be mandatory where the study of the early years of school learning, as in Iraq. English became the language of economics, politics, banking, international relations, dissemination of research, and many of the areas that require the use of the English language to communicate. To synchronize the spread of modern technologies, including the spread of calculators and information network since the end of the last century and to date, which broadcasts its programs and instructions in several languages, which constitute the English language by more than 80% of these languages. Such techniques have helped to develop teaching methods and learning directly or indirectly. This marks the user has the calculator, or network information and instructions of the vocabulary of phrases and sentences in English addressed even when it is used for sites broadcast in Arabic, regardless of academic or educational level. So this study is to address the usefulness of the information network to promote vocabulary of English at the university students for non-English language learners and contribute to a foreign language as a means to assist students in learning English texts of a substance.
Applied research on students of Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, University of Dhi Qar, for the academic year 2009-2010. Form team (40) students from phases I and IV, (20) students per stage divided by their use of the calculator or the information network, and not using them and to suit the objectives of the study mentioned above is fact-study hypotheses, which assumed that there are benefits to the information network in the promotion of English vocabulary for university students , in addition assumed that there are differences in performance between the first and fourth. Results were analyzed using some statistical methods. The study consists of three parts, conclusions, proposals, sources, accessories, and a summary in Arabic. |
