Research Summary
That stand on the areas of interdependence between the progress of civilization in the time of the Abbasid state and the evolution of the sports movement is a matter of the utmost importance if we want to clarify the role of sport in the construction of civilization. The research aims to identify the aspects of the development of civilization in the time of the Abbasid state and areas of interdependence between cultural progress and the status of the development of the sport movement. The problem was a lack of research in the library to sports studies and research on site sports movement in the march of progress of civilization has been achieved in the time of the Abbasid state.
And referred the researcher to progress in the fields of science, philosophy, industry, thought, literature and economics, which represent the pillars of the development of civilization, and pointed to the role of philosophers in the promotion of the status of sport and show its importance and its benefits and what tool that role in increasing turnout general public and the elite it. It also touched on the sports games that were practiced in the time of the Abbasid state Calverosah, horse racing and scepter, chess, swimming and wrestling ... Etc..
The researcher pointed to the factors and objectives of the scientific development and the development of sport both on the unit, as well as areas of interdependence between them. He also pointed out some important areas in the march of the sports movement and saw that it must be known to, arbitration, such as training, management, regulation and education of children and boys.
And the researcher to several conclusions, including:
- The main purposes for which the sport was practiced in the time of the Abbasid state is military purposes, educational, health and recreation.
- The development of medicine and pharmacy knowledge and contributed to the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries.
- That of the philosophers, doctors, first to clarify the importance of play, movement and sport for individuals in general and the children, boys in particular. |
