| Abstract | ||
| The research aimed at recognizing certain physical height measurements of badminton's female players in Mosul University as well as the relationship between some of the physical height measurements and the most basic skills of badminton (long high serve) of female players in Mosul University. The research population has consisted of (20) female badminton practitioners in Mosul University and the final sample of the research has reached (17) female players i.e. (85%) of the research population. The researchers have used the following tools for data collection: physical measurements registration form, a registration form of basic skills tests' scores which were handled by the following statistical means: (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient). The rustle Findings have shown a significant correlation between (the total height and the length of the arm) and the long high serve. Results have also shown no significant correlation between (the body weight, the arm, the hand, the leg and the trunk length from sitting position) and the long high serve. Researchers recommended the necessity of taking into account the right performance of the long high serve during training as well as its importance in obtaining a direct score out of it and performing similar studies in the future that deal with basic skills according to their importance to the game along with physical measurements of male and female players. | ||
