| Thi. pnp., presents description ol'a computer-aicled designer al-sorithnr (acronl'm CAD) of absorbing and dielectric thin-film coatings . based on the characteristic nratrix method. 1-he graphical output for transrnittance and reflectance of a multilal'er absorbing and dielectric structures at various w'avelengths and angle of incidence are easily obtained.other feature in the cAD include the dispersion phenomena of the structure savin-e as input paranleters , and results in the lbrm of filcs. Sonrcexanrples of filter and coatin-e calculation are presented and conrpared rvith prer ious studics. | ||
