| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to: 1- Identify the values of some biomechanics’ variables for two styles of Grub start in freestyle swimming. 2- The effect of two style of Grub start (the traditional and the running style start) on some biomechanics variables in the beginning of the freestyle swimming. The researcher used the descriptive method relevant to the nature of the study .The sample was chosen as the members of the team of Physical Education College of Mosul University, the Olympic swimming and swimming especially in the freestyle swimming, and already registered in the records of college of Physical Education /University of Mosul, after analyzing the results and discuss the researcher concluded the following: 1- Showed significant differences between the two styles and the traditional start style were the greatest. 2- Because the greatest of the traditional start style the biokenmatical variables were better than the running style start. 3- Showed differences in mathematical circles in some variables between the two styles of Grub start, but did not live up to the point of the significant. | ||
