142 patients with growth failure(short-stature ) visiting growth failure-clinic in alzahra hospital were studied for the relation of provocative Growth Hormone test-results to the response to G.H. therapy ,51 patients ( 35.915% ) got a yearly height increment of >5cm./y. ( good response), and all of these had poor response to provocative tests by clonidine or exercise .
