| Abstract | ||
| The Iraq concluded with British government two treaties under the pro Britain occupation . The 1st in 1922 and the 2nd in 1926 . The king Faisal | and the first minister jafar Al-Askari tried to conclude new treaty in 1927 with Britain for Iraq to unit to the League of Nations . Since the start disagreement appeared between the two sides . Britain insisted on forming period of mandate for (25) years not (4) years , in order to not excitation Turkish to doubts about Mosel city . The other disagreement question , was Iraq desire to unit to the League of Nations in 1928 while Britain suggested in 1932 , that Iraq to reach other stage of development . Negotiation held into two stages , The 1st in Baghdad between Iraqi government and the delegate Henry dubs , but both sides didn’t reach to an agreement , because of the refusal of the Iraqi delegate the proposals but Iraqi delegation insisted on his demands . So the government Iraqi decided to transfer the negotiation to London under the supervision of the king Faisal 1st . the 2nd stage of the negotiation held in London , lead by king Faisal and Jafar Al-Askari they reached at agreement for all differences causes , and signed a treaty . The Britain used with Iraq political to force to for singed the treaty , and to perform motivated sect and apolitical groups for realization the aim . after signed the treaty , to faced powerful opposed , official and popularity to cause al- Askari government to resignation and to formed new government presidency Abdul Mushin Al-Sadoon . Britain to compelled to the treaty retract and to cancel his , and to stay on the treaty 1926 for the relations organization between sides until new treaty conclude . | ||
