Abstract
a survey on students of the third phase in college of physical education the study aims to identify the most important attributes of the emotional response that affect at the level of motor performance of some motor skills in rhythmic gymnastics, as is the emotional response of the important of the psychological factors, which must be studied by researchers constantly to know how it is impact on the performance of players and know how important it is, it is reflexive reaction may be positive or negative depending on the type and intensity of exciting. The researcher assumed that there are statistically significant differences in the level of emotional response and its impact on the level of motor performance in rhythmic gymnastics The research was conducted at the college of physical education, university of Al-Mustansiriya on a total sample of the 24 students and makes the period from 10112009 to 2522010. The study found that there are significant differences between the emotional response and motor performance in the following features :- ( insist – adjust tension – confidence – self control – personal responsibility ) also found to lack the moral differences between the emotional response and and motor performance in the following attributes :- ( desire – sensitivity ) . The researcher recommended the emphasis on the development on the psychological characteristics, especially the emotional response to the athletes because of its great importance in the performance and achievements sports for all kinds of sports
