| Abstract | ||
| The aim of the study was to identify the level of anxiety among basketball players during the game . In addition to that , the research aimed at identifying the level of anxiety with the position of the player in the court . The subjects were 45 elite basketball players who participated in the Iraqi basketball league 2009 _ 2010 . They presented three positions , 15 players presented pivot position , 15 players represented the wings in the court . All subjects were tested using Potrathy ( F ) . Harris stress level survey. The collected data was analyzed used proper statistical methods to show the differences in the level of basketball players anxiety according to their position in the court . The results showed that highest stress levels were found among wing players followed by play makers then pivots . The research recommended training in the same conditions of basketball matches to decrease the level of players anxiety. | ||
