| Abstract | ||
| The present study was carried out to determine the toxic effect of super benzene and its metabolites on male and female of Rattus norvigicus.Animals were Exposed via inhalation to concentrations of (5 and 10)ppm super benzene for 2 hour/day, 5 days /week for three months. Histological studies revealed that lungs of the exposed animals to super benzene, were exposed of benzene resulted in the occurrence of necrosis, hemorrhage, hypertrophy, inflammation and degeneration of blood vessels. While in trachea tissue were observed degeneration, necrosis of epithelial tissue, congestion and infiltration of inflammatory cells.Further more, histological changes in liver were observed congestion in blood vessels, degeneration, necrosis, hemorrhage, infiltration of inflammatory cells. The histopathological changes of the testis showed degeneration of the spermatogenesis stages in the seminiferous tubules, degeneration in the Interstitial cells, detaching of the spermatogenesis stages in the seminiferous tubules and shrinkage in the seminiferous tubules. | ||
