| Abstract | ||
| Several new copolymers and IPN hydrogel polymers were prepared from acryl amide , diacetone acryl amide , poly ( ethylene imine ) and glycedyl acrylate by redox polymerization . Ammonium per sulfate was used as initiator and tetra methyl ethylene diamine was used as accelerator .The swelling behavior was studied by determining the swelling ratio ( Q ) as a function of time . The effect of humidity on the swelling behavior was studied and finally the deswelling characteristic of hydrogels was determined at 45 C0 | ||
