| Abstract This study is entitled'' an Evaluation of Grammars’ Curriculum of English Department according to Taba's model at College of Education, University of Kirkuk ''.The paper investigates the aim of the study, the problem of the study , and definitions of basic terms, which are related directly to the topics. The scope of this study is confined to survey of literature of curriculum development, models of evaluation; it includes Tyler's and Taba's models. Constructing the research instrument of evaluation, the research instrument is a checklist and its validity and reliability have been estimated. The study ends with conclusion followed by bibliography. The results showed that needs and organizing of the content are very important elements to achieve their aims. The researcher recommended to consider Taba’s model for evaluation of the material in acquisition of grammatical concepts and ideas. The researcher also suggests identical studies for other subject matters. | ||
