| Abstract | ||
| This study was conducted to suggest a new formula to determine the critical water table depth which includes the whole factors that affect on it because the previous formulas individually depended on certain agents and neglected the others . For that reason these formula showed different results with statistical differences between them when they applied in the southern of Iraq to determine the critical depth of water table . As a result for this case there is an inhibition to select any one to applied it . Therefore the recent study depended on climatic condition , soil and water table properties to suggest a new formula as following : Y = 0.5 ( 0.9792X 0.5347 + 0.4463Ln Z + 1.4689 ) , when Y critical depth of water table ( m. ) , X the electrical conductivity of water table ( dS / m ) and Z mean daily evaporation ( mm. ) . The study recommended to use this formula to obtain the critical depth of water table . | ||
