| Abstract | ||
| This study was carried out in the fields of Technical Institute of Shatrah at two seasons 2007 and 2008 to realize the impact of bacterial inoculation by Pseudomonas fluorescens on the some growth properties , yield and yield components for four varieties of soft wheat which be always cultivated in the southern region of Iraq – Thi-Qar governorate . The experiment was designed according to R.C.B.D. . Three treatments ( bacterial inoculation with 50 Kg N / hectar , non bacterial inoculation with 100 Kg N/hectar and non inoculation non fertilizer ) were used with four replications . The wheat varieties that were cultivated ( Ipa 95 , Ipa 99 , Temooz 2 and Maxibak ) The results showed that the treatment of inoculation with 50 Kg N/h excelled significantly in each of length of plant / cm. , tiller number / plant spike length / cm. , spike number / m2 , weight of 1000 grain / g. and the grain yield Ton / Hectar for each two year 2007 and 2008 which reached to 4.83 and 4.50 t/h in series , while the treatments ( non inoculation with 100 kg N/h and non inoculation non fertilizer ) produced 3.78 , 3.54 and 1.55 1.49 t/h for those two seasons in series too . So the variety Ipa 99 excelled significantly in comparison with the another varieties , it,s yields were 3.78 and 3.66 t/h for seasons 2007 and 2008 , while the variety ( maxibak ) gave the lowest average of grain yield 2.78 and 2.73 t/h for referred two seasons . The study recommended to treat the seeds of wheat by bacterial inoculation to increase the yield and reduce the production costs . | ||
