| Abstract | ||
| This study carried out in Abu Al-Kaseeb area southern to Basra to study the effect of irrigation water quality of Al-Sidoor and Al-Thanaieb location on some productivity properties of Date Palm Phoenix dactylifera L. C.V. Berhi and Hillawi during the season 2009. The result showed that the water quality of Al-Sidoor and Al-Thanaieb are caused hard salinity problems when it use for irrigation as classification of F.A.O., Al-Thanaieb location had sodium, Potassium Chloraide, Bicarbonates, Sulfat ion, Electrical conductivity(E.C.) and Sodium adsorption ratio(SAR). More than Al-Sidoor while Al-Sidoor location had significant increase in yield dry weight and leaf length, but the water content and Prolin content shower opposite results | ||
