| Abstract | ||
| The effect of ecological factors (soil texture , ionic content , pH , Ec and organic matter) on the anatomical features ( epidermal features, root diameter , vesicular bundles diameter and cortical thickness) of the halophyte Salicornia herbacea were studied at three locations in southern Iraq ( Basrah , Nasyria and Samawa). The results showed that then was a significant differences among the soil parameters mainly Ec m ionic level and soil texture over sites. Meantime , there was variations among the anatomical features of leaves stems and roots of the plants, however , it was not significantly variable. | ||
