In the present study influence of pH and temperature on extracellular enzymic activity of protease on solid media were tested of six species of nematode -trapping fungi (Arthrobotrus anchonia , A.dactyloides , A.oligospora , Dactylella brochopaga , Dactyleria pyriformic , Monacrosporium eudermatum) . The extracellular enzymic activity of protease were varied according to fungal species and the value of pH and temperature . A.oligospora produced high vegetative growth in all pH values , followed by M.eudermatum , whereas D.pyriformic showed a low vegetative growth followed by A.anchonia . Nevertheless, all tested fungi showed a high vegetative growth at pH = 7.5 , followed by value 7 , whereas it's growth was weak at pH = 8.5 , no vegetative growth showed at pH = 6 .
A.oligospora showed a high enzymic activity followed by M.eudermatum , a low enzymic activity was appeared in D.pyriformic . A best enzymic activity in the tested fungi produced at pH = 7.5 , followed by pH = 7 , while all tested fungi were never showed enzymic activity in pH = 6 and 8.5 .
This Study showed that the M.eudermatum produced a highest growth rate in all tested temperature degrees , followed by A.oligospora , whereas D.pyriformic showed lowest growth rate , the vegetative growth in other tested fungi were varied
However, the optimum temperature for vegetative growth of all tested fungi was 25 C° , followed by 30 C° , while the lowest vegetative growth was appeared at 40C° followed by 15C° . The high activity of protease showed in A.oligospora , followed by M.eudermatum , the low activity revealed in D.brochopaga, in tested temperature degrees . the 30C° showed a high enzymic activity . followed by 25C° , on the contrary , no enzymic activity appeared in all tested fungi in both 15C° and 40C° |
