Abstract
Out of the previous presentation , We notice that the industrial structure in Al- muthana governorate is composed of five main sectors ( big industries) that involved (10) factories employing (1828) workers out of (220) factories and ( 17711) workers in the whole country. This makes (11%) of the factories and ( 10.32%) of workers in the whole country . The number of factories is equal in brick and asphalt industries, Where there are (3) factories for each industry out of (94) brick factories and (39) as phalt factories in the whole country . This makes (3.19%) of brick factories and ( 7.69%) of asphalt factories. Grains grinding industry involved (2) factories out of (75) in the whole country. This means that the governorate achieved (2.66%). Salt extraction industry involved one factory of two factories in the country. This makes 50% of the whole country. Cement industry involved one factory out of ten in the whole country, Which makes (10%) of the total number of factories. Number of factories for both mixed and private sectors was equal with (5) factories for each sector in the governorate out of (55) of mixed sector and (166) of private sector. These numbers represent (9.09%) of the mixed sector and ( 3.03%) of the private sector. Man- power in the mixed sector was ( 1653) workers out of ( 7743) in the whole country which makes ( 34.21%) While in the private sector , it was (175) workers out of ( 9966) in the whole century. This makes (1.75%). whole country and it has an active impact on the industrial activity in the country.
