| Abstract | ||
| He is Mus’ab bin Omeir bin Hashim from the sons of Abd-al-dar bin Qusei (one of the septs of Qureish). He and prophet Mohammed(God’s blessing and peace be upon him) join in their grandfather Qusei. Before Islam, Mus’ab lived in great luxury leading a life of play, enjoyment and indulgence. When he heard of the Islamic mission, he joined Islam preferring it to the life of luxury. As a result, his mother tortured him. She also deprived him of money and kindness. He migrated twice to Al- habasha, then he was sent by the prophet(God’s blessing and peace be upon him) as the first ambassador to Almadeena, and he succeeded in that mission. When the verses of Jihad came down upon the prophet, Mus’ab held the flag of Muslims in the two wars, Badr and Uhid. He was killed as a martyr in 3 A.H giving an example of sacrifice. The research studies Mus’ab’s lineage, his family’s stature and his life before Islam. Then it studies how he joined Islam, his migration to Al-habasha, his mission to Almadeena and his migration, his strife and lastly the lessons we learn from his honorable career. | ||
