| Abstract | ||
| Alhartha, on of the cities of Basra Governorate, has several natural and human characteristics that can be utilized for the advanced of its people and the inhabitants of neighboring regions. The city’s distinguished location at the confluence of Euphrates and Tigris is one reverie characteristic; whereas its being a junction for the surrounding villages and the neighboring regions connecting all of them with Basra district and the center of Basra Governorate is a terrestrial characteristic. The research aims at analyzing the peculiar function of the city in connection to its special characteristics. It also suggest developing Alhartha into a tourist center, thus utilizing is characteristics will be based on scientifically. The researcher concludes that the existence of natural and human constituents is not sufficient to fulfill the suggested function these constituents. | ||
