| Abstract | ||
| France had intervened in the Middle East area due to her historical existence which started with the western occupation of both Syria and Lebanon during the (1920). Fraucedid not want to be pushed away of the area. So she faced the British and American powers. She transferred her attention to Israel as a substitute and a compensation for independence in (1946). France according to this policy, was trying to abolish any British role in the Middle East, though they were allies. She also refused the Baghdad pact in (1955), being a means for Britain to remain and control the entire area | ||
