Abstract
A comparing study for the period of possession the ball in Iraqi soccer top tournament Chapter one : The researcher stated the amazing progress and development in sport events because of the Basics and scientific theories which some countries used to reach the high limits and abilities which were kinds of imagination in the past .The importance of the research focus on knowing the period of possessing the ball and what this skill represents in developing foot ball game . As for the problem of this research , it is lying in the question :- " Does the possession of the ball for the team is positive sign for the development of the football top clubs ? . However , the target of the research is : Knowing the period of possession the ball for top tournament clubs players . As for the assumption of the research is:. There are differences in the possession of the ball between Al Zawraa club and other clubs . The field of research are : The human field : Some of the players of the top tournament for foot ball for the season 2011-2012 . The time field : The period from 1/10/2011 to 1/5/2012 The place field : The stadium of AL-Zawraa sport club for foot ball. Chapter two : The researcher deals with the pervious topics and themes which explained the basic skills in foot ball and their importance . Also the importance of possessing the ball.this is the first theme , As for the second theme the researcher deals with some previous studies which provided a rich information to the idea for the recent study . Chapter three : This chapter comprise of a course and the field procedures , the researcher depend on the descriptive course in away of connection relation ships to suit the problem of the research . Chapter four: This chapter contains showing the sample results and analyzing with discussing in measuring the actual time or the period of possessing the ball and the lactic acid for AL-Zawraa club and other teams. Chapter five : The conclusions and recommendations According to the results :that the researcher has reached he come out with following results: The levels of the top tournament teams in Iraq were very close because the approach in training levels . According to this conclusions , the researcher recommends the followings : Putting training courses by using modern techniques which will help to improve the skill and bodily level of the players
