| Abstract | ||
| The research deals with metafiction technique at Talib Alrifai novel " The Shadow of the Sun " it involves the author's name or his personality or its indication in the novel in a way to indicate that he is the real author, and at the same time he is one of the important , main figures in the story. The author used this technique in his Novel, and the research followed up the technique and its drafting depending on two subjects, the first refers to expectation of limits which the reader's harmony break with the events of the story and its heroes, the second deals with reality and fantasy overlap blending together in a balance between them creating a special atmosphere in the novel`s narrate . | ||
