| Abstract | ||
| The correlation of sound to meaning is a crucial issue in linguistics. This issue met with a considerable attention from Quranic scholars as the Quran, as is well known, is excellent is manipulating the utterances that denote the intended meaning elegantly. This verbal elegance appears through the use of certain letters in the context of the word which itself is part of the sentence context that ultimately makes up the Sura context. This paper attempts to apply this correlation or harmony with facts (linguistics, jurisprudent, and communal) in Al-Takweer Sura. Facts are classified in to these three categories in order to give each word investigated in this sura its due dictionary description. This correlation or harmony between sound and meaning comes mainly from impression and repetition. | ||
