| Different extracts and concentrations used in this study showed different effect on growth of the dermatophytes used Piedraia hortai, Microsporum ferruginium, Trichophyton mentographyte and Candida albicans .High inhibitory effect on these dermatophytes was shown by clove oil compared with the rest of the extract.Thyme oil came second in its inhibitory effect ,particularly at concentration 30-40 mg/ml Candida albicans was highly affected by Thyme oil than by other extracts.Extracts from Pseudomona aeruginosa and Aspergillus niger showed less inhibitory effect on the studied dermatophytes than that caused by clove and Thyme oils.However Candida albicans showed resistance to pyocyanin extract. | ||
